KYC (Know Your Customer) verification is required for all users before they can deposit, trade, or withdraw on NexPlace. It supports regulatory compliance, protects users, and enables access to regulated products.
NexPlace applies a tiered verification structure. Each KYC level defines your transaction limits on the platform. Higher verification levels allow increased limits, subject to additional review and applicable regulatory requirements.
What you typically need
- A government‑issued photo ID
- A selfie / liveness check (depending on the verification flow).
- Depending on your verification level and activity, additional information may be required.
How to complete KYC
- Sign in to NexPlace and open the Verification / KYC section.
- Verification can be completed on your mobile device or desktop.
- When prompted, choose your account type (Individual or Corporate)
- Follow the in-app steps to submit documents and complete identity checks.
- Wait for approval. Your verification status will be shown in your dashboard.
- Once verified, you may upgrade your KYC profile to increase your transactional limits.
Where to Find Your Verification Status
After signing in:
- On desktop: Go to Profile → Settings → Verification. Your current verification status and transaction limits will be displayed there. You can also request a profile upgrade from this section.
- On mobile: Open Profile → Settings → Verification to view your status and request an upgrade if eligible.
Common Reasons for Rejection (and How to Fix Them
- Blurry or cropped document photo: Retake the photo in good lighting and ensure all edges are visible.
- Glare or reflection: Avoid flash glare and remove protective covers.
- Mismatch between account details and ID: Ensure your legal name and date of birth match your ID exactly.
- Expired document: Use a valid, unexpired ID.
- Liveness check failed: Retry with better lighting, remove hats or glasses if prompted, and ensure your face is fully visible.
How Long Does Verification Take?
Verification times depend on the information provided and your transactional profile.
Most verifications are completed within minutes. However, if additional information or clarification is required, the process may take 24–48 hours or longer depending on the review.
If Compliance requires an additional data point or clarification:
- You will receive a notification within the platform or via email explaining what is needed.
- Your verification status will indicate that further action is required.
If you are unable to complete verification or do not understand the request:
- Contact Customer Support.
- Support may escalate your case to the Compliance team for review and guidance.
