Trading fees

2 min. readlast update: 02.11.2026

NexPlace trading fees are designed to be competitive and transparent. Fees may vary by trading pair and by your rolling 30-day trading volume.

Maker vs taker

  • Maker fee: applies when your order adds liquidity to the order book (for example, a limit order that does not fill immediately).
  • Taker fee: applies when your order removes liquidity (for example, a market order or an order that fills immediately).

Fee tiers

Fee tiers are typically based on your rolling 30-day trading volume, calculated in USD-equivalent volume. Your current tier and applicable fees are shown in-app..

Fees are quoted as decimal rates (for example, 0.0010 = 0.10%). Always confirm the latest fee schedule in-app.

Additional fees to consider

In addition to trading fees, the following may apply depending on the asset and network:

  • Network fees: blockchain networks charge fees to process withdrawals. For Liquid, network fees are paid in LBTC.
  • Deposit fees: crypto deposits typically do not include a platform fee charged by NexPlace, but the sending wallet pays the applicable blockchain network fee.
  • Withdrawal fees: withdrawals may include a blockchain network fee and, depending on the asset and network, a platform fee.
