Some regulated digital assets on NexPlace are issued on the Liquid Network and can be transfer restricted. This means you can only withdraw them to approved Liquid addresses.
This article explains the complete end‑to‑end flow to withdraw a regulated Liquid asset (for example, a NexBridge issuance) to self‑custody.
High‑level requirements (all of these must be true)
- Your NexPlace account is KYC‑verified.
- You have a Liquid‑compatible self‑custody wallet (for example, Blockstream App).
- You have generated the correct receiving identifier for the asset (often an AMP ID / Liquid AMP address) if required.
- Your Liquid wallet address / AMP ID has been whitelisted by the issuer via the NexBridge OTC Desk (issuer‑level whitelisting) if the asset is transfer restricted.
- You have a small amount of LBTC in your self‑custody wallet to pay Liquid network fees when you move the asset.
Step‑by‑step: withdraw to a self‑custody Liquid wallet
- Create a Liquid wallet and generate your receiving address / AMP ID (depending on the issuer requirement).
- Submit your wallet address / AMP ID for issuer‑level whitelisting through the NexBridge OTC Desk and wait until the status is validated/approved.
- In NexPlace, add the same Liquid withdrawal address to your approved withdrawal address list (if required by your account settings) and wait for approval.
- Open Wallet → Withdraw, select the regulated asset, and select the approved Liquid address.
- Review any platform fees and the Liquid network fee, then confirm the withdrawal.
- Track the withdrawal status in NexPlace and verify the transaction on a Liquid explorer when a TXID is shown.
What can go wrong (common issues)
- Address not whitelisted by the issuer: the withdrawal may be blocked or rejected until issuer‑level whitelisting is completed.
- Wrong address type submitted: some issuers require a specific Liquid receiving identifier (for example, Liquid AMP / AMP ID). Using a standard Liquid address when an AMP ID is required can prevent successful receipt.
- No LBTC in the wallet: you may receive the asset, but you will not be able to move it until you add LBTC for fees.
- Network mismatch: make sure the withdrawal network is Liquid (not Bitcoin).
